Designed from all points for the security and well being of our residents. Individual and group living have been optimised, and the modern fire-proof construction has a residential ambiance that is also functional and pleasant.
Furniture and furnishings to create a distinguished atmosphere are an integral part of making the centre truly a home for our residents.
We also have an electrical generator to assure heating and lighting for the building and electricity for all important medical , communications, access control, and auxiliary services equipment.
As a long-term care institution we have all the equipment that is to be expected, but we also have much more.
We believe that it is important to be well equipped so that our residents may maximize the quality of their life, security, and at the same time minimize the necessity of transfers to hospitals.
Pain Control: Morphine pump, T.E.N.S. (Neurostimulator), Wax Baths, Hot & Cold sacs and packs
Mobility & Security: Hospital beds, Air mattresses, Communications systems, Orthopaedic devices, Geriatric chairs
Physical and Occupational Therapy: Cervical traction, Massage equipment, Parallel bars, Activities Board
Respiratory System: Compressors for inhalo therapy, Oxygen compressors with accessories, Reanimation equipment, Suction equipment
Laboratory: Glucometry, Simple urine exams
Medication: Uni-dose system for distribution of medication
Cardiac System: Electrocardiogram
Festival Estival – 2011-08-21
Summer Festival to be held on Waterloo beach. Activities for seniors are planned. It’s a nice opportunity to meet the citizens of Waterloo and especially to keep pace with the music of local artists, corn on the cob and much much more! Santé Courville is a happy to co-sponsor this event for seniors.
