Volunteering opportunities
Volunteers
Thank you for being there!
A volunteer is somebody reliable, friendly, understanding, patient, and who wishes to help those in need. It is somebody who is occupied, but none the less finds time to help others. We can never speak enough of the work that they do which is so precious.
Volunteering at our Centres have many faces, accompanying patients to appointments outside of the Centre, helping in individual, group and special activities.
Examples include visiting with residents, support to the terminally ill (special training required), and decorating for special activities (Christmas, Easter, Halloween). This is just a short list of what volunteers do.
Volunteers make a difference, and are an essential part of the team.
